A Cognitive Femtocell can be defined as a cognitive radio (CR) enabled
Femtocell. The concept of Cognitive Femtocell is becoming a promising approach
to enabling multi-tiered opportunistic access in next generation cellular
broadband wireless systems. Regarding to finding the spectrum opportunities in
Cognitive Femtocell Networks, there are numerous sensing methods that can be
applied depending on the system requirements and network architecture. For
example local sensing could be used in Femtocell base stations, or exchanged
sensing data of neighbours could also be used. Moreover, sensing could be
conducted synchronously in the network, or each component could perform sensing
on its own schedule.
This project requires you to understand the cognitive femcell concept and
propose a new approach to the cognitive femtocell in LTE.

二、设计实现与仿真说明
2.1 仿真准备
根据课题的任务要求,整个课题可以分为三个部分:
第一:资料的研究;
第二:对论文中所提算法的仿真,这个部分将使用MATLAB进行仿真;
第三:对femtocell的算法和没有femtocell的macrocell的原算法进行对比。
在进行仿真分析之前,首先简单的说明一下femtocell的频谱感知模型,
因此,Femtocell进行频谱感知的目的就是检测出哪些信道被干扰范围之内的宏系统用户所应用,从而避开这些信道。检测的方法主要是通过检测在
上行信道接收到的宏系统用户的能量来判断其是否处于Femtocell系统的干扰范围之内。
通常,频谱感知技术的基本结构模型如下所示:
图中,空心三角形为宏基站,实心三角形为fetmo基站,小的空心圆为宏用户,实心圆为femto用户。
2.2 仿真要点
这里,主要防止系统的pd曲线,pf曲线,pm曲线。

即对普通情况下,即不考虑存在femto的情况,对小区进行频谱感知技术的仿真与分析。
