今天在编写cuda程序时,遇到一个很奇怪的问题, 就是在调用核函数时,返回cuda错误信息,报invalid argument 。

一般的理解是参数异常,有可能是参数过大,一种是非法参数。经过检查,参数传递错误基本排除。
最搞笑的是,我把核函数内部代码注释掉,参数为空,结果竟然还会报这个错!

于是我猜想可能是之前存储分配的时候出现问题,经过检查,果不其然,找到一个二阶地址从Host到Device传递时出现的错误。
由于cuda在申请显存的过程中是手动完成的,地址赋值如果出现错误,其实是不会报错,因为计算机并不知道你的地址赋值出现错误。但是当开辟显存空间的时候,就会出现问题,导致cuda错误列表会记录,并且之后所有的计算全部会出现错误。
当出现该问题时,我的一个解决方法是,在每一次申请显存空间的时候,都使用代码cudaError_t来返回一下错误,如下:

当在那个位置出现cuda的报错信息,那么就直接找出错位置之前的显存申请代码就可以了。
